THE WIZARDS OF WINTER RETURN! This holiday rock event for the whole family features former members of classic rock giants like The Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Def Leppard, Rainbow, Alice Cooper and Blue Oyster Cult among others, plus top shelf Broadway and Theater stars! The show was so popular last year that we’re thrilled to announce their return with not one, but THREE shows!
THE WIZARDS OF WINTER perform a holiday rock opera titled The Christmas Dream. Join them on a musical journey in search of the true meaning of Christmas. The story is based around the music from their latest release The Christmas Dream along with music from their self-titled CD and their album The Magic of Winter. This 11 member group with a total crew count of 20 usually play much larger venues. But, the band said that they had such fun returning to an intimate space like The Strand last year, that they were thrilled to come back in 2024! The Wizards of Winter, with this superb cast and crew, look forward to seeing their fans once again in such a personal setting!
The group’s acronym is well-earned! WOW will be bringing their musical intensity, stage theatrics and holiday fun. This incredible ensemble boasts soaring vocal harmonies, powerful percussion, precision string instrumentation, and stunning keyboard work, layered around a rich storyboard that evokes memories and emotions of Christmases past!
