A Holiday Rock Event for the whole family featuring former members of Classic Rock Giants – The Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Def Leppard, Rainbow, Alice Cooper and Blue Oyster Cult, along with Broadway and Theater veterans! This is the first production coming to The Strand that will be hauling two 45′ Tour Busses, each towing a 16′ trailer!
THE WIZARDS OF WINTER perform a holiday rock opera titled “The Christmas Dream”. Join them on a musical journey in search of the true meaning of Christmas. The story is based around the music from their latest release “The Christmas Dream” along with music from their self-titled CD and their album “The Magic of Winter“. This 11 member group with a total crew count of 20 usually play much larger venues. In fact, the band’s founder, Scott Kelly, told us that The Wizards of Winter show hasn’t played in an intimate venule like The Strand in over 10 years! But Scott and his incredibly talented crew are looking forward to seeing their fans in such an up close and personal setting!
The group’s acronym is well-earned! WOW will be bringing their musical intensity, stage theatrics and holiday fun to The Strand for ONE SHOW ONLY, Thursday, November 30 at 7:30pm! This incredible ensemble boasts soaring vocal harmonies, powerful percussion, precision string instrumentation, and stunning keyboard work, layered around a rich storyboard that evokes memories and emotions of Christmases past!
