Have A Few Laughs This Easter Season With This Irreverent Musical Comedy…Ok, Have Lots of Laughs
Most of our Easter shows have been joyful, but also intense, with shows like Jesus Christ Superstar, Joseph, Godspell, and even our exclusive Ron Slanina’s Bible On Broadway. This year, we take a light-hearted approach with Nunsense, a hilarious spoof about five nuns managing a fundraiser.
Most of the sisterhood become the ‘dearly departed’ from botulism after a meal made by Sister Julia Child of God. The remaining nuns – ballet-loving Sister Leo, street-wise Sister Robert Anne, befuddled Sister Mary Amnesia, Mother Superior Sister Regina, and mistress of the novices Sister Mary Hubert – stage a talent show to raise money to cover funeral costs. The catchy songs and irreverent comedy will have audiences rolling with laughter.
Nunsense is part of the ‘Tis The Season Subscription Series sponsored by Waymaker Wealth Management which also includes Miracle on 34th Street The Musical, and American Made Music Fest.
Tickets are currently only available as part of the Tis The Season Subscription series. Individual ticket sales begin May 2nd.
