Mariachi Rock Revolution

November 2 / 3:00 pm

Think ‘Trans-Siberian Orchestra’ meets Day of the Dead! MRR is the brainchild of Grammy-nominated Austin Latino Rocker/Electric Violinist HAYDN VITERA.

The Band has performed at venues all over the Greater Pittsburgh region including large outdoor performances. Many have said this is one of the best bands ever to come out of the tri-state area.

The show is a rock-fueled, Mariachi-infused spectacle of sight and sound, celebrating the tradition of Mariachi through an unprecedented fusion with modern rock and electronica. It is a one-of-a-kind experience!

Mariachi Rock Revolution‘s high-energy show synthesizes styles from arena rock to Latin Mariachi and everything in between. You’ll experience high voltage renditions of Latin music as well as electrified versions of mainstream rock and pop hits from around the world! Think about what Trans-Siberian Orchestra does with your favorite holiday music, and give it a spicy, Latin twist, and you have the essence of Mariachi Rock Revolution!.

MRR captivates the hearts and souls of audiences in theaters, performing arts centers and concert venues around the country! The staff and volunteers at The Strand are thrilled to host Mariachi Rock Revolution, literally, on the final day of The Day of the Dead celebration!
