Original Music Revue Showcases the Greatest Girl Groups of Broadway & Pop Music History

We are THRILLED to announce that Broadway and national recording artist CARLA BIANCO will be headlining our final BROADWAY ON MAIN show for the 2017/2018 Season, Sing It, Sister!

Carla has been performing since she was four, and writing music since the age of ten.  While attending New York University, Carla landed a publishing deal with Jellybean Productions, Madonna's producer. Her first single, "Not This Time", was released on Atlantic Records. During that time, she had the good fortune of writing with many of the best, such as Narada Michael Walden, Judd Friedman, Reggie Lucas, and more.

While in LA, Carla landed the role of Maureen in the Tony award-winning musical Rent in the West Coast Premiere and later on Broadway. She worked both On and Off-Broadway in many shows like Spring Awakening, where she originated the role of Wendla.  Her performing, writing and recording credits go on and on!  We are very excited to put here in the spotlight for Sing It, Sister!

From The Andrews Sisters to The Supremes, The Shirelles to The Spice Girls and Martha & The Vandellas to Destiny's Child, all-girl groups have spiced up the musical landscape for decades. Broadway shows have been written about them or featured them, and the unique harmonic blends of feminine voices have been captivating the Top 40 charts since records were kept.

Sing It, Sister is a high energy tribute to the lovely ladies of song.  Expect to hear hits from Broadway shows like Dreamgirls and Leader of the Pack, and selections by pop music superstars from The Andrews Sisters to Destiny's Child. You'll be mesmerized by the incredibly tight harmonies and marvelous melodies made famous by many of music's top industry titans!

Sing It, Sister is a all-new and original, and brought to you by the creative minds behind It's a USO Christmas, Heroes & Villains and Broadway Rocks!, and is ONLY for Strand audiences.  If you don't see it here, you won't see it anywhere else!
