Showcasing Top Projects from the School Districts Aspiring Filmmakers!
Everyone in the Seneca Valley School District knows about SVTV, of which all of the content, from morning announcements, to sporting events and cultural programs are created and broadcast by students. The programs are often broadcast live, then repeated on Armstrong Cable, Channel 50.

Led by Dan McKosky & Janice Rice, who teach a variety of video production courses as well as Animation and Design, students write, produce and edit newscasts, film shorts, documentaries and many other programs including the popular Seneca Says. The . students strive to provide programming that is informative, entertaining, creative and relevant.

The Seneca Valley Film Festival will feature final projects from students in TV Production 4 as well as some of the top programs created during the course of the 2016 - 2017 school year. Join your family and friends at The Strand to experience these projects on our 25' screen, with digital projection and 45 speaker surround sound!

For this special night, Seneca Valley students will see their films presented on the same screen that has presented Gone With The Wind, Casablanca, Harry Potter and The Avengers just to name a few! Cheer for your favorite film while supporting this great night!
