The Staff and
Volunteers at The Strand are ecstatic for the return of this
incredible concert experience with an all new twist! The
Pittsburgh All-Star Band will be joined on stage by
none other than Da Burgh's most iconic 'Yinzer' JIMMY
KRENN! Jimmy was a staple of morning radio for 24 years
on the top-rated DVE morning show, and for hosting his very own
morning radio show on Q92.9FM. Jimmy has been voted 14 times as
the Top Entertainer in the City by Pittsburgh Magazine and
nominated by BILLBOARD Magazine as one of the Major
Market Personalities of the Year. He makes frequent TV
appearances, does several standing-room-only concert
performances yearly and has performed with the likes of Jay
Leno, Howie Mandel, Dennis Miller, Jerry Seinfeld, Richard
Lewis, Gilbert Gottfried, Tim Allen and many others.
Jimmy will be hosting The Pittsburgh
All-Star Band, opening the show with his signature comedy
routine, and then will join the band ON STAGE to perform a few
numbers with them! This is brand new territory for Jimmy
and the Pittsburgh All-Stars, and you can only see it at The
Strand!
Of course, the Pittsburgh All-Star Band is made
 up
of some of The 'Burgh's most amazing talent, and they're coming
back to The Strand to raise the roof and shake the foundation!
At the heart of the group is The Granati Brothers,
independent artists whose classic rock music and rich harmonies
have been compared to the Beatles, Jellyfish,
Queen, and Supertramp. They have performed or
recorded with Van Halen, Bruce Springsteen, J. Geils,
Ian Hunter, the Doobie Brothers, Sammy Haggar,
Nazareth, Peter Frampton, Boston, Blue Oyser
Cult, Def Leppard, Black Foot, Molly
Hatchet, Dionne Warwick, Joe Grushecky, the Clarks,
BE Taylor, the Jaggerz, Norm Nardini, and many more.
 The
Pittsburgh All-Star Band Concert will
include a special appearance by none other than Pittsburgh rock
legend Donnie Iris. Donnie will perform his
biggest hits "Ah! Leah!", "Love is Like a Rock" and "The Rapper"
when he joins The Granatis on stage
