THEIR
FIRST VIRTUAL CONCERT WAS SO AMAZING, WE COULDN'T
WAIT TO BRING THEM BACK AND HAVE MORE FANS EXPERIENCE
IT!
|
|
On March 21st, we partnered with
one-third of The Celtic Tenors, MATTHEW GILSENAN, and
International Violinist VLADIMIR JABLOKOV to present an
all-new concept in virtual programming; a personal and
interactive concert streamed to The Strand's 25' screen
in 45 speaker surround-sound. Much more than a
pre-recorded concert or even a live-streamed program,
Matthew and Vladimir could see and interact with the
audience as they performed! The result was a truly
unique and memorable experience. The image was crystal
clear, the sound quality was tremendous and the artists
and audience could interact with no time lag!
|
We're excited to bring back this
personalized concert and make it available to many more
fans! In March, only 40 tickets were available, but with
recent state mandates allowing theaters to operate at
75% of capacity, the show is now available to dozens
more and at a LOWER TICKET PRICE!
|
|
That's
right! When Matthew and Vladimir return to The Strand
screen,
tickets are just $10,
half of what they were in March!

Matthew
Gilsenan of The Celtic Tenors is a true
Lyric Tenor, born and raised in Moynalty, County Meath. Music
has been in his bones from an early age. He was initially taught
to sing by a nun in the Convent of Mercy in Kells. He has a vast
range, which he can deliver in his own unique and powerful way
across all genres from Dylan to Cohen, from Puccini to
McCormack.
Two decades of touring the world
with the internationally renowned Celtic Tenors has brought
Matthew to extraordinary venues all over the world. Every
continent has been touched by his charm and talent.
Slovak
Violin Sensation Vladimir Jablokov was born
into a family of virtuoso classical musicians. He began his
formal classical training at age six. At 18, Vladimir was to
start training at The Academy of Performing Arts, but years of
regimented instrumental studies left him craving a break from
classical music. He packed his bags - and a fishing rod - and
left for Ireland in pursuit of adventure. Two weeks in, he ran
out of money, and started busking on Dublin's Grafton Street.
Since then he has never stopped playing, starting with corporate
events, weddings and concerts and has never looked back.
Vladimir has been thrilling audiences
since moving to Ireland 16 years ago. His live performances are
nothing short of electric and exhilarating as he brings
his skilled fusion of classical music with the playfulness,
energy, passion and emotion of gypsy, folk and popular music to
intense life. His talent and playful nature make him a perfect
partner for Matthew with this personal and interactive virtual
concert!
