A Dog's Way Home
Sunday ONLY!  April 14
Starring Ashley Judd, Jonah Hauer-King & Edward James Olmos

A female dog travels four hundred miles in search of her owner throughout a Colorado wilderness.

This film features two remarkable North American ungulates that can only be found in either northern or western American states which are moose and bison. Moose are also present in Alaska and every Canadian province while bison are only present in Alaska's boreal forests and Canada's prairie provinces (Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta) as well as its territories (specifically Yukon and Northwest Territories).

The wolves in this film are really coywolves which are a wolf-coyote hybrid. Regular wolves that inhabit northwestern American states (including Alaska), northern portions of the Great Lakes region and Canada are gray/grey and white while coyotes have brown, tan, gray/grey and white fur. Both canid species are rarely black. Coyotes that are partially wolves inhabit northeastern American states and eastern Canada.

Famous director Ron Howard appears to have a hidden cameo in the film. Near the end of the movie when Bella is back in Denver, attempting to cross the highway, she walks out in the road causing multiple wrecks. A lady gets out of her car, and others do also. In the background a man gets out of a car, and it's Ron Howard. This is likely because his daughter, Bryce Dallas Howard, plays the voice of Bella. Howard also co-starred in American Graffiti with director Charles Martin Smith.
