DESCRIPTION:Even In A World Where More Laughter is Needed\, Is This Show TOO Funny? \n\n\n\nA Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum is one of the funniest Broadway musicals ever written! Set in Roman times\, this non-stop farce of a comedy combines the ancient comedies of Plautus with Vaudevillian delivery! \n\n\n\n\n\nPsuedolus schemes to win the heart of the beauteous Phelia for his young master\, Hero. Of course\, chaos ensues with hair-brained schemes\, severe cases of mistaken identity\, slamming doors and convoluted plot twists! \n\n\n\nIn the intimate setting of The Strand\, the audience is practically joining the show as a forum of Roman citizens. Togas optional. \n\n\n\nA Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum is part of the Broadway on Main Subscription Series which also includes Man of La Mancha\, and More Solid Gold. \n\n\n\nTickets are currently only available as part of the Broadway on Main Subscription series.
