DESCRIPTION:North America’s Top Tribute Band is ‘Guaranteed to Blow Your Mind’ \n\n\n\nThis LIVE TRIBUTE performs all the iconic songs that made Queen one of the most legendary rock bands of all time\, and faithfully recreates the grand scope of Queen’s live shows\, both musically and visually\, with attention to detail capturing the amazing live Queen experience that filled stadiums around the world. \n\n\n\nSimply Queen has headlined theatre and outdoor festival shows to audiences of thousands (and even tens of thousands) all over Canada and the United States. \n\n\n\n\n\nThrough a special engagement with their booking agent\, we’re thrilled to welcome back Simply Queen to the intimate setting of The Strand! \n\n\n\nSimply Queen is fronted by Freddie Mercury impersonator extraordinaire Rick Rock. Guitarist Charles Christopher Lambrick brings decades of live experience to the show and definitely delivers “The Works” of Brian May! Drummer Phil Charrette and bassist Mitch Taylor are veterans of the southwestern Ontario and Detroit circuits. \n\n\n\nNo backing tracks – it’s all live\, and “Guaranteed to Blow Your Mind!” \n\n\n\nVocalist\, guitarist\, pianist\, songwriter\, live performer and producer in the Windsor Ontario and Detroit Michigan circuits\, RICK ROCK has supported countless acts including Edgar Winter\, BTO\, Burton Cummings\, Mitch Rider\, Kansas\, The Turtles\, Three Dog Night\, and Kim Mitchell. \n\n\n\nRick took his dynamic voice and incredible tribute artist skills to new heights by launching “The Freddie Mercury Rock Show” at the North American Queen convention\, and performs in the “Legends Live” shows.  The total Freddie package\, frontman for “Simply Queen”\, Rick says is a match “Made in Heaven”. He strives to create the most exciting experience of a LIVE tribute to Queen. \n\n\n\n\nSIMPLY QUEEN \n\n\n\nNorth America’s Top Tribute to Queen \n\n\n\nSaturday ONLY\, July 11 \n\n\n\n2 Shows! 2:00 PM & 7:30 PM \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBuy Tickets\n\n\n\n\nTo arrange for handicapped accessible seating\, please call The Strand Box Office at 724.742.0400.
