SUMMARY:Poltergeist
DESCRIPTION:Starring JoBeth Williams\, Heather O’Rourke\, & Craig T. Nelson \n\n\n\nA family’s home becomes the center of paranormal activity that opens a doorway to the “other side.” With help\, they must cross over to get their daughter back. \n\n\n\nBoth of the terrors that plague Robbie came from Steven Spielberg’s own fears as a child: a fear of clowns and a tree outside his window. \n\n\n\n\n\nDrew Barrymore was considered for the role of Carol Anne\, but producer Steven Spielberg wanted someone “more angelic.” Barrymore’s audition ultimately landed her the part of Gertie in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982). \n\n\n\nThe film was originally given an R rating\, from the Motion Picture Association (MPA) due to scenes of a child in peril despite little gore in the film. The rating was lowered to ‘PG’ on appeal. The film predates the PG-13 rating by two years which is the rating this film would have most certainly gotten without issues \n\n\n\n\nPoltergeist \n\n\n\nFriday\, October 30\, 7:00pm \n\n\n\nSunday\, November 1\, 2:00pm \n\n\n\n1982 | PG | 1hr 54min \n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nBuy Tickets
